Christina Di Marco – Teaching artist working with paper, inks, and clay; Puppet making with children for 28 years and specializing in marbling techniques.

“Making art encourages adults and children to connect to the beauty inherent within and in nature.”

Christina also created the suminagashi (a form of marbling) on Hide Oshiro’s work (see below).

The Heart Sutra

Hide.3Hide Oshiro born 12/30/1910 died 2012 – His work has been exhibited in France (Paris, Vence, Meudon), in Switzerland (Lausanne, Basel), and widely in the US including New York (Brooklyn Museum, Donnell Library). During his last years, Hide lived and worked in Newburgh, NY with Catherine his wife of 40 years.
