Planned Parenthood Mid-Hudson Valley announces an exhibit of paintings by founder Margaret Sanger and her husband, William, to celebrate her life and legacy.
Margaret Sanger attended art classes and took up painting while William, an artist and architect, was a member of an artist’s colony in Woodstock. Margaret and William shared a passion for the arts and the Hudson Valley, and their works have been touring the country. The exhibit includes works in the Hudson River School style, with hills and waterfront scenes familiar to visitors.
The opening for the show is scheduled for Sunday, August 21st from 4 – 6 pm. Tickets be purchased here.
The gallery is open Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and by appointment.
