Tatiana Rhinevault, born in Moscow, Russia has lived in the USA since 1991. She has exhibited and sold her work in Russia, France, Yugoslavia, Italy, Greece and at the Gallery Revel in SOHO, NYC. She illustrated several historical and children’s books, maps, and has had special commissions for private companies. Tatiana’s work is collected by private dealers, public and private institutions and individual collectors. Music has always made a strong presence in Tatiana’s work. Her elder brother, a musician, instilled in her a love for American jazz, and many of her friends were musicians who played classical Renaissance compositions. Her son Peter Vermeer plays violin, piano and organ. In 2010, Tatiana painted the portrait of her favorite violin player, Maestro Itzhak Perlman. In a letter to Tatiana, Mr. Perlman said,”I would like to express to you my gratitude for your talented work.”
